Jason, Madesha and Levan Stapleton
Service in Chimala: January, 2004 - present
Jason's responsibilities at Chimala include working with the Chimala School of Preaching and leading evangelistic efforts . They have initially committed to work at Chimala for two years.
Jason and Madesha are originally from Orange County, Indiana. They met there as children and married in 1999. They have one son, Levan, who is four years old. They moved to Texas in December, 2001, to attend the Brown Trail School of Preaching in Hurst. They graduated from the school in December, 2003. Madesha also has a degree in accounting.
Jason is no stranger to Chimala, Tanzania, having lived there as a child for three years with his family in the 1980's. He returned with his family in 1994, as a teenager, where he spent an additional two years. Because of his prior experience there, he speaks the language and understands well the culture and society.
